New Drumming Sessions 2026

I am pleased to announce a new series of drumming classes, along with a new family of instruments that are lighter, quieter, and fully weatherproof – so we can hit the streets! (even in the rain…)
 
A big thank you to Ed Link for creating some beautiful hand drums, and to Calum Balmer for making the rings for these. I’ve also been busy making new drums and reskinning older ones using sailcloth and even recycled shopping bags!

About the sessions…

These classes will continue from where we left off last year, building on the rhythms and material we’ve already explored together. Because of this, the group will be best suited to those with some prior experience from previous sessions.
 
To help maintain focus and flow, these sessions will be for adults only. Thank you for your understanding – this will allow us to go deeper into the material without interruption. If there’s enough interest, I’d be very happy to run a separate beginners’ class (and potentially a more family-friendly session) at a different time.
